BO/GAR Enterprises, Inc. began business operations in East Peoria, Illinois in 1984.  We moved operations to Wyoming, Illinois in 1989.

In early 1990, BO/GAR became the sole supplier for Commutator Poles for General Electric Company and in October of 1991 became a "Certified Caterpillar Supplier".  In August 1997, BO/GAR received the honor of being awarded the first "Supplier Alliance Award" given by East Peoria Caterpillar.

BO/GAR became QS-9000 certified in October 2001 and ISO 9001:2008 certified in September 2006 with continued re-certification on a yearly basis.

BO/GAR continues to receive OEM certifications by our customers with the latest coming in November 2009 when we obtained our Supplier Quality Performance Evaluation (SQPE) status from Caterpillar.
