The CNC Set-Up Operator sets up and runs CNC machines to produce metal parts. This position installs tooling and fixtures, sets offsets, checks the first completed part, and makes adjustments so the machine can safely produce parts that meet the job requirements.

The CNC Operator is responsible for safely operating one or more CNC machines to manufacture precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and production requirements. Operators may be assigned to various CNC equipment, including CNC lathes, vertical mills, horizontal mills, or other production equipment based on operational needs. The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing work orders and coordinating the production schedule within a machine-shop environment. This position works closely with the Shop Foreman, production departments, and Quality Department to prioritize work, monitor demand, and help ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. The position maintains current and accurate scheduling information in the company’s MRP system an
