Wyoming, IL (January 25, 2022) – Bo/Gar Enterprises is excited to announce the opening of their second facility in Wyoming, Illinois. The property, previously purchased as a storage facility in 2020, will now house a 10,000 square foot fabrication shop complete with a new laser, welders, and brake press.
With the new addition comes an increased need for new employees. Bo/Gar is looking to hire upwards of 20 new employees immediately to fill staffing needs in the facility and in the main shop.
President Jon Knoblauch said, “We are very happy to be growing in Stark County! We have expanded our current facility four times now. With the increase in business, we have experienced over the past few years we are bursting at the seams! The increased space Division 2 opens up will allow us to keep up with our customers’ demands while increasing capacity for new customers.”
The business structure at Bo/Gar consists of complex assemblies along with precision CNC machining. The assembly department purchased a large variety of weldments and fabrications. When work slowed down in 2020 due to the pandemic, the company looked for ways to save money and keep the employees busy. They began analyzing purchased fabricated parts and brought them in-house for welding only. This new process spawned the idea of starting a new division.
Bo/Gar started to look through all of the parts they purchased and found ways to make their own rather than purchasing them elsewhere.
Knoblauch stated, “We immediately noticed an avenue for potential growth and cost savings. We poured concrete pads for the new equipment and ordered a laser that we received in September of 2021. The brake press was the last piece of the puzzle which we just installed last week. So, we have officially started making our own fabrications!”
Potential employees are encouraged to visit the company website: www.bogarenterprises.com or stop in at the main office (401 S. Main in Wyoming) to fill out an application and discuss employment opportunities.
Media representatives are invited to come out and tour the new facility as well as the current facility at any time. Contact the office to schedule a tour (309-695-2025).
