Full Job Description
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth through face-to-face customer interaction, territory development, and strategic account management. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.

Location:Â Field-based (with travel to customer sites)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed targets
Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities
Schedule and conduct customer visits, product presentations, and on-site evaluations
Understand customer applications, challenges, and requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and pricing packages
Negotiate terms within company guidelines and close sales opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to grow repeat business
Track sales activities in CRM and provide accurate forecasts
Partner with operations, engineering, and customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Gather market intelligence and report competitive activity
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications
2–5 years of outside sales experience (industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales preferred)
Strong customer relationship skills and consultative selling ability
Ability to understand technical drawings, manufacturing terms, or engineered products (preferred)
Self-starter with strong time-management and territory-management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel regularly within assigned territory
High level of professionalism, integrity, and follow-through
Work Environment
Field-based role with frequent customer site visits
Occasional exposure to manufacturing environments (PPE may be required)
Travel required — typically regional
